Siege Ladder

The Siege Ladder is the second asset in the HytekLabs Siege Collection. Designed for scaling fortified walls, it brings a classic medieval tool to life in voxel form.

Construction

The ladder is built from heavy timber rungs lashed together with rope binding. We focused on giving it a sense of real weight — this isn't a lightweight prop. It looks like something a crew of soldiers would haul up to a wall under arrow fire.

Scene Context

Shown here propped against a stone curtain wall in our castle courtyard environment. Nearby crates and barrels sell the staging area vibe — like it's been prepped and waiting for the assault.

Collection Progress

With the cannon and ladder complete, the Siege Collection is taking shape. Each piece is designed in the same visual language so they feel like a unified set when placed together in-game.
